Hajj-2018 forms to be available from Nov 15 | KNO

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 14 (KNO) : Executive Officer State Haj Committee (SHC) Tuesday said that forms for Haj-2018 would be available online on the website of Haj Committee of India website (www.hajcommittee.gov.in) and on SHC (www.jkshc.com) from November 15 to December 7, 2017. The forms for the holy pilgrimage shall also be available at respective Deputy Commissioner’s Office from aforementioned date. The Executive Officer said that applicants must be in possession of Machine Readable Valid International Passport issued on or before December 7, 2017 and valid up to February 14, 2019. He said that intending general category aspirants belonging to Jammu Division and Leh and Kargil districts including all districts of Kashmir Valley except Srinagar can submit Haj application forms at respective Deputy Commissioner’s office. Whereas, reserve category applicants (70 years+) and those belonging to Srinagar district can submit forms at State Haj Committee office at Bemina here. The Executive Officer said hard copies of online Haj application forms complete in all respects and enclosed with the requisite documents shall be accepted from November 15 to December 7, 2017on all working days during office hours. He advised applicants to read guidelines available on the official website of Haj Committee of India and State Haj Committee before filling up the Haj application forms (KNO)
